Just in case, if you’re wondering, the process is quite simple and straightforward. You don’t need to pay any kind of fees or visit the brand to get yourself started with Netbanking. However, you must ensure that your mobile number is registered and linked with your Bank account, also the ATM card associated with your Bank account must be in the Active state. If your ATM card is not yet activated or if you don’t have one, then visit the branch and apply for it.

Step 1: First of all, head over the official Netbanking page of Canara Bank using the given link (Insert: https://netbanking.canarabank.in/)

Step 2: On the web page, you will the option of “Register or New Registration” which will be located beside the “Login” option.

Step 3: Once you click on “Registration”, you will be taken to the next page where you will be shown all the terms and conditions that you need to agree. Just click “I Agree” and proceed further.

Step 4: On the next screen, you will be asked to enter a couple of details such as Bank Account Number, Debit Card or ATM card number (16 Digits), Registered Mobile Number, Customer ID (Can be found on your checkbook and Passbook).

Step 5: After entering all the above details correctly, select “Transfer And Inquiry Facility” and Make sure to tick mark the “Terms And Conditions” option before proceeding.

Step 6: Within a few seconds, you will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your Registered Mobile number which you need to enter on the next screen. Just enter the OTP twice correctly and hit on “Submit”.

Step 7: If the entered OTP is correct, you will be asked to create a “Login Password” which will be used to log in your Netbanking account. After entering the login password, just click on “Submit” and you should see a message something like this “Your User ID Got Created Successfully”.

Now in the next step, you need to create a “Transaction password” which will be required whenever you make a Transaction such as a Request, Money Transfer etc.

Step 8: Now head over to the Netbanking login page, and enter your User ID and password that you’ve created in previous steps to login in your Netbanking account.

Step 9: Once you log in to your Netbanking account, just click on “Accounts->My Profile” and select “Generate Transaction Password”. Now again you have to enter your 16 digits Debit card number, ATM Pin, and Expiry Date.

Step 10: Another OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number which you need to enter on the next screen. Just the enter the correct OTP twice and proceed. On the next screen, you will be asked to create a “Transaction Password”. Just create your desired password and submit.

That’s all, after going through all the steps, you will be able to use your Netbanking to manage your Bank account over the internet. There are a lot of facilities available in Netbanking such as Fund Transfers, Manage or Create Fixed Deposits, Block or Activate ATM card, Change Pin and Password etc.

You can also use your Netbanking to make payments online from your Bank account. Just select “Netbanking” on the merchant payment page and select Canara bank, enter your Login account details and make the payment. The amount will be debited from your Bank account and will be credited to the merchant account instantly.
