LIC e-services are now the key to many such problems. Life Insurance Corporation of India has launched its e-services to help its customers solve problems like, paying premium from home, or even checking other details about their premium online now.
With LIC e-services, you can check LIC login policy status, make LIC online premium payment, check LIC of India policy status enquiry, receive LIC premium receipt, login to LIC old portal and also do your own LIC online registration.
While earlier, LIC agent login used to help with these features for many, and fill their pockets with our money, now it is time to say goodbye to them.
LIC Online Premium Payment
Here are the steps which you can follow on the LIC website to get your work done:
- Step 1
Visit Life Insurance Corporation of India’s official website or LIC homepage and click on “Online Services”
- Step 2
Once you click on the “Online Services” on the homepage, you will be redirected to a page with other options to proceed. Select “LIC PayDirect”, on this page to continue.
- Step 3
Now you will see a window on your screen, which asks you fill in your details. Details include your name, phone number, date of birth, email ID, Policy number and the premium you need to pay.
Be sure to provide your correct email address in the above details, since you will receive an online receipt of the payment you make on this website.
Please note that the payment has to be made from the policyholders account only. No third party can do the desired payment.
- Step 4
Once all the details have been filled and updated, click on the “Submit” button. You will now be redirected to another page, which will ask to re-confirm the details you had filled before. On this page, you can also add more policies, if you want. Check and verify the details and click “Submit” again.
- Step 5
After you click Submit, a page loads with your policy details. Select the policy for which you have to pay the premium and click on “Next”.
- Step 6
Now you are directed to the baking page. Here you select if you wish to pay via internet banking, Credit/Debit cards.
- Step 7
You will now be redirected to your internet banking page for payment. Once the payment is made, you will get an LIC premium receipt as a proof of your premium payment on your email.
Other Important Points To Remember:
- You will need acrobat reader version 6 or above to view the LIC premium receipt from your email on your system.
- In case you make the payment online and receive an error page, instead of a success page, check your bank account details for any deductions first. If the amount is deducted, you will receive an LIC premium receipt within 3 working days. If not, then you must contact your bank at once.
